We currently work with several teams to help veterans in areas like wellness, legal aid, housing, and employment. Community Involvement
We are proud to be members of the Longmont Chamber of Commerce, working with the city for the betterment of veterans in the community.
Wellness
Ft. Collins-based Healing Warriors holds a once monthly Wellness Clinic
at Post 2601 that specializes in non-narcotic pain and joint relief.
Housing
Kansas-based Veterans Community Project works with our Post as they complete construction on a tiny-home community in southern Longmont especially made to address veteran homelessness.
Camaraderie
We work with restaurants like Pumphouse Brewery to plan fun nights where our members and the greater community can socialize while raising funds and awareness of causes we care about.
Charity
We work with our Young Marines to collect, wrap and donate toys for Christmas, we give care packages to homeless shelters, and we partner with Wreaths Across America to make sure veterans are always cared for and remembered.
